Hoya blashernaezii found in Catandues, Luzon Province, Philippines by Filipino botanist Blas Hernaez and named after him.
Hoya blashernaezii is an epiphytic vine that can grow both by climbing tree branches and by sagging ampel.
The leaves are thin, oblong-elliptical with a rounded base and a sharp tip. The leaf size is 10-21 cm long, 4-5 cm wide. The central vein is clearly visible.
Hoya blashernaezii flowers are thin and long, up to 12 cm. In a flowing floral umbrella reveals 15-30 separate bell flowers with a diameter of 1.5 cm. The blades of the whisk are oily-glossy, pale yellow, translucent. The crown is pale yellow. Flowering lasts about a week, nectar does not stand out, the smell is absent.
For good growth and flowering Hoya blashernaezii needs good lighting without direct sunlight, high humidity and consistently moderately humid soil.
